The Opportunity We are seeking Survey Assistants to fulfill positions throughout our various sectors across our Branch offices. Your role will be dynamic, exciting, and rewarding as you support your fellow team in a fulfilling work environment. Qualifications • Spatial recognition skills • Basic computer operation for email, spreadsheets, and search functions • Able to use basic tools such as a tape measures, shovels and sledgehammers • Able to lift and carry over distance 30lbs or more • Preference will be given to those who have or are able to successfully complete o WHIMIS & First Aid, PST, H2S o Driver’s License o Ground Disturbance (optional) Responsibilites • General field support for the Party Chief • Digging for survey posts • Flagging and marking boundaries • Equipment transport • Responsible for their own safe conduct within the field and for identifying to the Party Chief any hazards and/or unsafe working situations • Responsible to ensure their own Personal Protective Page 2 of 2 Equipment is in good working order and worn according to the GRSI Health and Safety standards The compensation package for this position will commensurate with the level of responsibility of the position as well as the candidate’s qualifications. In this role you will work closely with the Project Managers and many stakeholders throughout the organization.
